W123 sway arm tip or end broke off.

While working ont he front end to replace the upper control arm bushings I twisted the tip the sway arm off with the bolt. Question. How do I fix the tip,to bolt the sway arm bushings and the upper control arm back in?

There have been write up on this problem before. do a search on sway bar, torsion bar something will bubble up.

go up above in buy parts tab, in the drop down box click on special tools, then is section 32 inder suspension, scroll down to Torsion Bar Saver.
this is a fix, has to be welded on. some have drilled into the end of the broken sway bar, taped it and installed a bolt.

Your better off finding a TD sway bar in the junkyards and replacing the whole thing. It is a fairly straight forward ordeal, you have to remove the MBC and battery tray. You may be able to remove the MBC off the booster without removing the lines. TD sway bar is a 2mm increase, dont forget to grab the bushings.
