Try a real mechanic.

I suspect your "Tire Guy" is obviously starting his own economic stimulus program - selling parts instead of adjusting your gearbox.

Make sure you get a kiss with the deal...:rolleyes:

Go for the adjustment first, if you have to really turn the adjuster bolt out then you may want to opt for a new box. I'd say give it a shot and see how it goes.
