Oil for door hinges
Hi,
There has been a lot of discussion in the past about oil being the right lube for door hinges. I know I have seen it with my own eyes in MB documentation, but cannot track the source. I have looked at maintenance procedure 7220, but my current copy is a 1989 update, and says grease. It does maintain that hinges on the tailgate on T models get oil. Where was the source of the oil spec for lubing hinges? Thanks!
