License plate holder for front Euro bumper
Is there a US front plate holder designed for w123 euro bumpers? Mine had to be sort of rigged to stay attached, and I'd like something a bit more secure, especially because I can't use this fancy license plate frame I scored at a wrecking yard.

I've seen 2 different types, but they are knock-offs: A frame the same size as the US plate and a stock US W123 plate holder w/the bottom attachment removed. However, you still need the Euro screw mounts that fit in the slots of the Euro bumper.
Another option: have a Euro blank plate stamped w/your numbers/letters and the 2-letter code for your state, and then put you front stickers on it. I don't know if this is legal, but so far I haven't had any problems w/mine.

I ordered the euro tag bracket for mine though MB for $30 or so then just drilled holes in it and mounted my US plate to it.
![]() On my euro 126 which has the same type of mounting holes in the bumper I just adapted the rear tag frame off a US W124 using two bolts and some washers. I don't see why you couldnt do this on a 123 either.
