Want weird RV's? These two were built on SAAB 92 platforms in 1962. The left one has it's original 28hp two-stroke engine.. looks quite peppy on this video though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja5nmT5qzDQ

Thanks, that video made my day. Amazing acceleration! Wonder how much it weighs?

I imagine you would get lots of laughs if you drove one of those around in the states. :)

That vehicle looks like it was designed by the Ghostbuster's creators, high on life, It also looks like it was slimed over the front end.

I prefer the Dodge Mahal, as previously listed.

Weighs about 1150kg (2500lbs). I don't think the laughs are restricted to the states, it's so ugly/cute/nerdy that I'd think where ever you drive around with that thing you'll get smiling faces :o;)

I'm 99% sure. Both my 307d and 409d had 5 spd's with a granny gear.

Here's a video of MichiganDon's Travco 270 with the 6BT:

Wasn't it listed on the Atlanta Craigslist for a while?

winmutt 05-06-2009 10:58 AM

Ya, he goes back and forth. Never got the deal on that but emailed him once I think, nice enough guy if I remember didn't sound scammy. He also wanted alot more than my $800 money pit cost me.

So, if so are all gears different than a car spread or just 1st, and if so could 1st be changed out for a 240d 1st?

Think of 2-5 being 1-4 on a normal trans. I dont think the granny gear is designed for high RPM. I would think that trans would be a no brainer for the GWagen club.
