124 manual climate control
How much interest is there in a manual (Euro) climate control?
I stumbled across a 230E for sale (auto-tranny, damn), have no real desire to own it, even for free (rough), but it might be worth parting for the manual CCU.

I'd be interested in the whole car if it has fabric upholstery. A friend of mine has a 230TE that tempts me whenever I think of it.
I'd be more interested in it if my ACC didn't work. Sixto 87 300D

It has gray cloth. Dirty, but no holes. The car is pretty ratty, rust around jack holes, ... shift console has a woodgrain sticker over the wood, engine encapsulation panel in the back seat so engine trouble?. If only it were a 5speed, I'd pull the trans and let you HAVE the rest.
