Floor gets wet when I run AC

Hello everyone! I have a real annoying problem in my 300D....When I run the AC, driver's side floor gets wet. I believe the problem to be in the AC drainage is clogged.Anyone know where the drainage tubes are? I have had no luck finding where they drain under the car, and don't know where they are connected inside the car. Have searched the web for pictures or other help, to no avail. Can you tell me how to get to the drain hoses? What else should I be looking for?
THANK YOU !!!!! :)

The drain at the center of the dashboard, right above the transmission hump, has deteriorated and drains to your carpet. It's right at the top of the transmission tunnel/hump, right in the middle of the dash. Take the underdash panels out and you'll see it there.

I used a plastic Coke bottle (2 liter) and cut the neck to fit. More is good - don't cut too much or else you'll have to sacrifice another bottle.

Hope that helps :D

When he says don't cut too much...I would have a few bottles on hand when you do it. It took me a few tries to get the trick of it. It's a real pain in the butt to get in there without cutting too much. I had to shave the head of the bottle too.

Use pipe insulation....

For that AC drain replacement, use a piece of that foam water pipe insulation with the tape to seal the slit on the side...I forgot what specific size...3/4" ID?. Since its really difficult to get under where the drain is, and the clearance between hump and drain nozzle is very small, it helps to use a foam tube (similar to original). This is definitely where you water leak is coming from.

Wow, I was only 3 weeks into my Mercedes ownership at that point, and that was my beloved smoking wagon. And to think the AC worked on that car. Amazing!
Cheap fix too.....

I used a 16 oz(?) green tea bottle.

I don't think you have a big problem if you're living in a place where you get to use A/C this time of year...

All kidding aside, I had the same problem. Its an easy fix, the hardest part is simply getting your hands squeezed in there and maneuvering the new tube on.
