Blower Fuse Blows When Kickdown Switch is Depressed

Any time I am on the freeway and I push the accelator pedal to the floor depressing and activating the kickdown switch the same fuse immediately blows. I don't recall offhand the number of the fuse but it is the one that controls the blower along with a bunch of other things.

Replace it and all is normal. Nothing else seems to blow the fuse other than the kickdown switch.

Any ideas?
