Well here we are, and the year has been flying by and almost come full
circle from the last post.

We are now up to 357K.

And I still don't own a car that qualifies......HEY, does the 1985 300D silver parts car count? It has 360K+ miles on the odometer.

Not currently on the road, but

the '87 qualifies. Should have the head gasket replacement completed when it warms up a little around here.

Jay.

Add the milage on all your cars, and divide by the # of cars

Doesn`t count, they have to be running .

444,775 miles on a '78 240D 4spd I bought 2 months ago for $300.00.

The car had one owner for 28 years who replaced or rebuilt everything. I have the records as well as the original sales receipt for $12,600.00. It's been in California it's entire life. I plan on making it to 500,000 miles.

1980 300d turned over 800,000 miles 4 years ago, is now in the shed as a parts car but still drivable. I have a friend with a 1979 300d with 1,150,000 miles and still going strong!!

1984 300d turned over 400,000 miles about 3 months ago. Its a long way to the shop for milk & bread here (about 120 miles return trip).

1987 250td is only a baby 92,000 miles

I haven't had to remove a head or sump yet!! Give it time!

300D will turn over 375,000 next week, still runs great @ 500-600 miles per week.
Original engine too.

320k on Bruiser. Hoping to sell it so I can drive Alex more and get it over 300. Only diesel guys would be wanting to add miles to their cars.

Yeah, it's killing me that Coda has been STUCK since March. Well, if I get a few things done every 3 days, she might run again before Christmas.
