It's cold..... so I have a heater question.... what else would be the question.

So my heater works on low fan speed, at which point the fan barely blows, but at least it's warm. As soon as I push the button for the high speed fan, it blows air hard, but only cold air. And no matter what it always blows only through the outside dash vents, and the top of the dash no matter which button I push to select the vents.
