The next batch is ready and 1 clock is already claimed. Claim which clock you want here so others know it's gone and send me a PM so we can exchange info.

Thanks guys.:)

As a follow up, I swapped out the clock guts that didn't appear to be working for the other clock guts I had and it has been working fine since then.
Will have to return this one for another.
Those look good Chad!

Cool. I'm glad the new guts are working out.

I made these clocks last Thursday and have been testing them since then. They ALL keep perfect time.

Thanks Jimmy.:)

Clock #3 is gone. 1,4 and 5 are still available.:)

I never realized before that those classic caps have 12 holes! Great idea.

Where do you get your clock parts?

i want to do something similiar - but more of a shop clock - using an entire racing wheel and tire - building a bracket to bolt it to the wall. I'd love to use a backlight and 110v clock works - but they don't seem very available.

Great idea!

Chad, put my name on one. I can't tell the difference by looking at the pics so I'll leave it up to you. (There's a loaded proposition for ya'. ;))

I've got 4 caps coming that'll need to be repainted China Blue so I might as well do 5 if that makes a difference with choice. Now I just need to get me some steel wheels.

BTW, did you get my PM re: console inserts?

If you're doing a one-off shop clock you can pick up 110v wall clocks cheap and just strip the guts out of it.

Hey Swamp. Clock #5 is yours if you want it. I'll send you a PM.

You're on the cup holder list too. One coozie cup and one standard.

Only Clock 1 and 4 are left. Since they are a bit more curbed than usual, I'll let them go for $35 each which will include shipping.

I stumbled across some hubcaps this weekend so I snapped up two. One black and one baby blue. I think I am going to make on for for my room and when I get around to getting a place with a garage I will put one there.

Chad, are you still making these MB hubcap clocks?

Just to share, here's my mechanic's clock in his garage

(and his own version of a hubcap clock to its right)
