How do you remove the back seat? W124

I know it's easy to remove the back seat, but I forget how. Is it lift from the front, or the back of the seat? It has those small metal tabs at the lower front, but they don't seem much fun to grab onto. Seems like that can't be the way to lift the seat out.

Thanks,

Jeff 1991 300d

On my w123 I just push them in and lift the seat front simultaneously.

Rear seat bottom R+R

It lifts up from the front ,After you push the two little tabs in.
(They can be uncooperative,Push down on the front of the cushion whilst you
push the tab rearwards)You may also want to wear a heavy leather glove to
push on the tab.

Yep, they have small square protrusions on the tabs that mate with the bottom surface of seat. I had to bounce up and down on rear seat while pulling out/down on the tabs, then lift up hard on seat to get it free.
