Old style glow plug relay
Can i start my 78 w123 with a new style relay without conversion?
Is there a way to repair or test a old style w123 relay( by the steering colum type) i got all new glow plugs but the gp light wont come on and its not firing, i only see intermitent yeloww gp light when i hit the ignition and try and start it. Thanks in advance and any help is great.

Can i test gplugs at the realy, it has some extra pin holes in it thats why i wander, also can i test the gplugs at the plug by the firewall??

You have loop plugs on that right? Are you sure you installed the heavy resistance wires correctly when the replaced the plugs? You can test continuity through each plug in turn I believe.

yeah. the kit on diesel giant takes the gp relay and uses the large thread pencil glow plugs

How does one connect the heavy resistance wires correctly,i have no idea if these are correct or not, does anyone here have a picture??
