So... I found a car..
its a 1995 E300 Diesel White w/ Grey Leather 108,6xx Miles has smaller pass side mirror (assuming euro option?, and Glass Lens headlights ) I was @ the dealership when traded in... 1 tiny door ding & one TINY bumper scuff shown in pic, zero curb rash or corrosion. Purchased as European Delievery by elderly German couple here in Florida. NEVER SEEN SNOW ALL SERVICE RECORDS also has working memory heated seats, telescoping steering wheel, antenna, headlight wipers/washers REAR WINDOW SHADE! :) also... zero oxidation, crack free wood & leather, chipless origional windshield, and spotless window tint. needs AC Evaporator... I can get it picked up for $9995 including evap... seem fair? |

Good looking car, think it is a bit high for a 14 year old. Somewhere between 7-8K? But then when I have seen one I wanted, I didn't let it go over 1K.
My thoughts ron |

Are you asking us how to negotiate with the dealer, or your parents?:D Do you plan on putting a panoramic cloth sunroof on this one? |
well... its about the 7500ish mark... but then parts and labor for air... package deal for $9995 @ an MB Dealer
thanks for all the imput in advance :) |
Seems like its priced a tad high. The evap is a big ticket item though.
Dealer prob didnt give them much more than $5-6K for it as a trade in and they get to perform labor for cost to fix it. I'd try to get them to knock $500 or $1000 off the price. Ask when the GP's were last done and if the harness has been replaced yet. |
If you quickly join MBCA, the dealer should give you a 15% discount on parts/labor for the repairs. Would be worth asking, anyway.

and that is the price range i'm looking for a car... i'm super excited about it... and no cloth roof for this one... but the 240 is still in thought...
so... everything seems to be lining up price wise then.... and is it me... or does this vehicle seem just a tad more Euro than most?! |
local dealership has a similar vehicle for sale for more than $13,000....(www.lustimotors.com) , so considering that price, it sounds like a decent deal, but try talking it down anyway...

Is that a Lexus sitting next to it? What dealer is it at? Don't tell me somebody traded in a diesel w124 for a Lexus?
|
If you buy it can I buy the euro badge from you? :D
|
If....
IF you don't buy it, I've got first dibs on it.:D
|
the european delivery badge?!?
i'll see... I'll aslo letcha know if i get it or not DAW... and as the lexus... its a salesmans car :O i know right... this car is sounding better and better by the moment :) its about time i stumble on a creampuff instead of dealing w/ everyone elses junk... && i've got 7K in my 240D... and i'm far from the end... i need something reliable |
Rear shade and heated seats are optional, everything else is standard equipment. Nice car though.
The mirrors are standard US 124 unless they're aspheric (Europe only), doubt it, the headlamps are US '94/'95 glass-lense DOT lights. If it were Euro it would have a different trunk lid and different front bumper filler/plate hollder also. Looks like a nice car. |
