Just got a guage this weekend; 13psi at 2400 rpm..
Only 11 - 12 at 4000 though..

oldsinner111 01-04-2009 05:20 PM

set mine back to 12.5 psi

Matt L 01-04-2009 05:32 PM

I'd have to answer <8, but that's just because there is no 0.

thebenzkid 01-04-2009 05:47 PM

12.5psi @ 3000PRM
13psi @ 3500RPM

boost controller set to 13. It's a good bit higher than I'm making use of, but I am still at 7 or 8 after shifting.

Actros617 01-04-2009 06:54 PM

well i cant wait for my boost gauge and the manual boost controller coming in 3-4 days :D

pawoSD 01-04-2009 06:55 PM

Cruising at 70mph on a flat surface around 3100rpm....8-9psi.

Going uphill at 75mph under full load....about 11.5-12psi

DrewGerhan 01-04-2009 06:57 PM

Mine will top out at 22psi if I let it. I disconnected my wastegate, but control it via la foot. :)

Hatterasguy 01-04-2009 06:59 PM

No idea, never checked. My 0-60 is within factory spec so I assume its right.

I'm getting a controller too, hopefully it will be here this week!
I'm not going to turn the boost up, but I am hoping that it helps it build a bit faster..it was cheap, so if nothing happens, oh well. Plus at least I'll have one if I ever decide to try the full load adjustment.

Actros617 01-04-2009 08:19 PM

i am going to go with 11 psi i think 12 is the max w/o any modification.

Hatterasguy 01-04-2009 08:34 PM

I wouldn't go cranking up the boost on an almost 30 year old motor unless you are willing to start breaking stuff.

Set it to factory spec and leave it.
