300D dash work in a 300CD?

Hi all - I've found a black dash from a W123 300D - will this dash interchange into a W123 300CD - exact fit ? Thank you for any direction as I am learning that a lot of coupe items are "coupe only".

It does fit. I swapped one from my fathers 300d into my 300cd several years ago. Be careful though. Remove steering wheel, a pillar trim and be gentle or it will crack if flexed at all.. Hope this helps

yeah, it`s a direct fit.
Everything from the dash forward is the same, the suspentions parts are the same.

As above, yes, it'll fit. If you're doing the pulling, make sure you get the glove box door, too. And if the wood's in good shape, get the complete set since I believe they're "pattern matched".

Everybody - thank you for the confirmation on the dash. Yak - Daryl here in San Antonio - thanks again for all your help a few weekends ago....I've got a laundry list of things to do.....I changed out the injector lines and change the turbo inlet seals like you suggested. I still have some leaking injectors - but better than before. I'll keep you posted. Daryl
