What indicator am I missing?

I'm assuming W124s? It has an indicator light on the instrument cluster with the letters ASR.

I'm many hundreds of miles away right now, but I believe it the order on the right side is Coolant, lamps, ABS, SRS, ASR, and Check engine. If the ASR part is blank, then you don't have it.

IIRC, there are 2 sets of sensor wires coming off the back of it.

ASR is of course gas.

The non-ASR pumpkin has one ABS sensor on the pinion, the ASR pumpkin has two ABS sensors, one on each side (as iwrok mentioned).

As "babymog" suggested ASR is for gas cars.

A few diesels after 1991 got ASD (auto Sperry differential) & they also have 2 differential sensors.
