Fixin' oil leaks
Well, I am going to try to stop the oil leaks this weekend (or at least slow them down). I have the turbo drain grommet and a couple of o-rings that I think I need. Has anybody had any experience with this repair?
I noticed that one of the oil cooler line fittings seems to be rather oily also, with a spot of oil on the driveway directly below it. Has anybody ever had one of these fittings be loose enough to leak? I would just love to be able to just tighten a fitting and have one of the leaks stopped. I also have noticed a spot of power steering fluid on the driveway. I have to add about a quart of fluid per year. That is not too bad of a leak, but I would like to stop it if possible. Are there any common causes or locations for the power steering pum to leak? Again, I thank one and all for their help and advice. Doug
