Gonna go pick up another 300sd today..
1983 dark? silver with white leather interior. Everything works except the window switches. Paint is good and interior seats look very good - no cracks or tears. The car has 135k miles on it; no rust; uncracked dash; good tires; some records. Seems to have been babied.
The lady was asking $1200 for it. What do you guys think I should counter offer? I was thinking about buying it, giving the interior a GOOD cleaning, waxing the paint, install some nice Euro headlights & repainting the bundt wheels then put it on sale for a bit more.. Thoughts? ... especially in today's market?

If the mileage can be trusted and there is no rust, it's worth quite a bit more than $1200.........vehicles with 300K sell for that price.

It has a white leather interior????? I've never seen that, and not sure I've ever even heard of a white interior in those. Would love to see pics of that whether you buy the car or not....

At that price, I wouldn't even try to haggle much. If its as nice as you say it is, it would probably resell in the 4-5k range.
If this was 2 years ago, maybe almost double?

I almost bought a 300sd with an ivory interior.
Looked very nice.  Unfortunately, the car was locked when I snapped the pictures.
