Arrggh....Frickin brakes

Before I began my work today my 300SD brakes worked just fine. But my flexible hoses were beyond ready for replacement and today was the day to get it done.

I was actually only able to change 3 of the 4 because the front passenger upper fitting just wouldn't come loose. I decided to leave it because the nut was getting stripped and it looks like I'll have to destroy the fitting and replace the hard line.

Anyway, the other 3 came off without incident and I installed the new hoses. Filled the reservoir with new fluid and proceeded to connect my power bleeder and go to town. Trouble was, I couldn't get much flow out of any of the 4 bleeder screws and what I got was full of bubbles. I resorted to the 2 man pump the pedal open the bleeder method and got the same result. The end result is that now I have no brakes, pedal goes to the floor. Frustrating.

I'm assuming that despite previously working fine, that the master cylinder has failed. Anybody have other opinions?
