84 300D Iffy Heat
I noticed that the heat from my 84D is not as warm as my 85D. Everything checks out as far as coolant level and operating temp. About 2 years ago, I replaced the torn diaphrams of the monovalve on both cars but the heat of the 84D did not really get as warm as the 85D even after the repair.
I have to set the temp wheel to max all the time just get it somewhat warm but no where near the hot temp coming out of the 85D. I'm wondering if the diaphram may not be as good or is not modulating as well and what would cause that. Any other thing I should check?
