Check out the short cut I took. Rear suspension was being a PIA. For sale, $200.

Well that is a good way to get it out! 200 Bucks is a great deal!

diametricalbenz 03-27-2009 02:55 PM

Would it fit into a W115 chassis?

winmutt 03-27-2009 04:20 PM

Thats pricey for no pics of the internals.

I need one, trade? Haggle? PM!

asnowsquall 03-27-2009 06:38 PM

Not sure about the 115. Sorry mut, no trades, $$ towards Suburban project.
Thanks for interest. BTW I have the instrument cluster for this diff. More pictures here:http://asnowsquall.smugmug.com/gallery/4411815_v9DER#500080307_tAesE
Let me know if you need any more.

It will fit.

107, 114, 115, 116, 123 and 126 should interchange up to 9/85 with maybe a yoke swap and of course need to possibly correct the speedo.

asnowsquall 03-28-2009 09:45 AM

I'll even throw in the intrument cluster for $50 if you buy the diff. Dave's bargain 300TD parts....
Wagon just got hauled of to the junkyard!

$250 is a pretty high price, especially for a diff with 245k miles and a cluster with the plastic cover broken off.

I know that, you know that, but that mileage is very close to
my coupe, and I would love to have those gears...........................:o

asnowsquall 03-29-2009 08:35 PM

So how's $200 for all of it?
Just want it out and on its way to a loving home. :)

Don't make me throw in the 300TD engine and tranny that I'm selling.

Truthfully, I don't think it's that high. Considering it is a rare one year wonder. Not that many 2.88s are around. I would of paid that much if I was in the market for one and knew it was a good quiet diff.

Now a 3.07 on the other hand...

asnowsquall 03-30-2009 05:44 AM

It is rare, the market changes, we are in a recession, if you knew what I paid for the car, I did the work of pulling it out, people have helped me out on the forum, etc....
Time for the stuff to go, but I'm not going any lower as these "don't take up much room to store". :)

Just weighed it and figured out some FedEx ground quotes. Toms River NJ is $25, Houston Texas is $45. Cheap.

asnowsquall 03-30-2009 08:17 PM

Sorry, only shipping to the continental USA only.
