Oil Pressure sender nipple size & Thread size?

without removing the oil pressure sender first to match the threads-
does anyone know what size the nipple and threads are on the oil pressure sender for a 87 300 SDL?
I believe the same sender was used for several years and models.

I need to put a Tee on a high pressure side to run to a centrifuge oil filter.

This seemed like the likeliest point for me to run off from without disturbing the rest of the plumbing. figure i can get a brass tee fitting and a couple adapters to run the line.
I could just remove the sender and take it to match for sizes, but i would rather have the tee fittings and get it all done while changing the oil. measure twice cut once.
Thanks

the search feature will help- look for threads on low oil pressure warning systems- peeps have posted this info before- at least for the 617.

THANK YOU,
JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE 1/8 PORT WILL NOT FLOW ENOUGH OIL. PROBABLY HAVE TO PUT A BARB TEE IN THE OIL COLER LINE

M12 is a fair bit bigger than 1/8 NPT.

may be my mistake but most of the Tee's i found were M12 male - M12 Female, with a 1/8NPT port for a oil pressure sender- for euro cars that just had a stock idiot light.

I reposted the question in the diesel discussion looking for oil cooler line Tee?

you should look at the Dieselcraft site though, pretty convincing- simple physics.

Its a simple centrifuge, they've been around for decades and what Dieselcraft offers is nothing new or innovative. Most likely they are just buying centrifuges from somebody else and putting their stickers on it.
