Don't know if this helps, but in my car, I had two occasions where the washer, and then the wipers would just stop working. In both instances, it ended up being the fuse in the engine compartment. The fuse itself is good, but the prongs of the fuse would build up oxidation, and eventually stop the wipers from working. If I were you, I would remove the fuse, and use electronic contact cleaner on the prongs and fuse socket. Good luck!!

This happened in my 300SD to about 1/2 the fuses in the box. Almost nothing on the car worked, as I replaced all the old fuses the car sprang to life! The fuses looked good and weren't blown, there was just a bunch of crap on the contacts. Btw I think they're a PITA to put in and get them seated right.

Talking wipers working again

I was looking at some forums and learn the location of the rely for the wipers. Guess what? I tap the relay twice and wipers start working again. Thank you guys for all your help and advices. Now I know the fuses boxes can also be a problem and find also a solution for the problem.
