You are going to have to seperate the lens from the housing, clean them and re-seal. If these are not Bosch Euro's pay close attention the the seals around the bulbs.

They happen to be Bosch. How do you go about separating them? Should i replace the seals on the whole unit just to be sure?

You likely will need to replace the seals. Doing it properly will prevent issues in the future.

It can happen, and you don't want it since the reflector is very very fragile and corrosion will ruin it.

YOu should be able to disassemble it and seal with silicone. Of course you don't want that on your bulb.
