hey all-
i've got a stellar transmission in an '80's euro gasser sedan that's a "722.308"...
i'm "planning for the long-term," and wonder if anybody knows if it will go into my '85 wagon (that's got the (stock) 722.315 in it).

can't find any useful reference to a .308 on the forum or online. anybody know the difference between these two trannies?
bolt pattern?
extension housing?
