Which Power Steering Pump?

Hi,

I need to replace my Power Steering pump as it is failing. I looked up the part online and I find that there are two types (w/o self leveling). How do I know which one to get, or do they both work? One is a "Luk" and one is
"Z.F.". Anyone have any experience with this?

I've got one here, not sure which one it is though. I can check my 4 D's tomorrow and see.

I appreciate it, I have looked all different types of ways, they don't seem to be specific to build time, or VIN, so I can't figure out how to choose. I don't want to remove mine until it is actually time to change it, because I drive this thing everywhere (as you can tell by the mileage).

I replaced a pump on my 560SL and bought a rebuilt from a place in vegas with the website mbpumps.com. I see the site is offline right now but try them again later and see. As I recall they had photos of all of the different pumps so you could match what you had. Their prices and service was excellent too.

this thread is useless w/ out pics.

actually- if you can see the tag on the pump you have, it will have manufacturer's data on it . my ZF pump is marked as such on the tag right below the cover.

I see a tag, not sure I can get in and take a pic. It said something that started with a K and matched neither of the ones listed. I will go out in a few and see what I can get, and then post it.

Actually,

I did some photoshop effects and I am sure now that it says ZF on the second line to the left, so that is what I am going to go with. If anyone wants to verify it, I would appreciate it, but I may just take the leap of faith on this one.
