Do you mean the fan that is in front of the radiator and AC condenser? If so, you can replace just the left blade and motor, but get a new belt (it doesn't come with). Be sure to only use OE or OEM parts for this. They do sell those here.

Be aware there was a problem with aftermarket fans turning backwards and the wires had to be reversed on them to get them right.

You might also try a salvage yard as there are tons of W210 chassis in them now and I think the same fan was used for all of them.

fastlane parts here.. If you belong to MB Club of America Valley motors gives 10% discount on parts.

And DITTO on the wiring. Mine was wired backwards, buts it a very easy fix, just take apart the plug and swap the wires.

There are more on ebay too but those have the same PN as you indicated you needed in their listings.

That first link says that it guarantees OEM "quality and fit" but it looks like it has two motors, not one motor and a belt. Note that they do not show an image of the rear.

I got one of those. Total waste of money. It failed after 9 months. I wasn't going to replace it with another junk unit (read the warranty), so I got a new OEM motor and put it in my old frame that was in a box. It's been fine so far.

If you want one of those fans, pay me to ship it to you. I have one in a box, and it's never going to see the inside of my car again. Of course, it's also a piece of junk and doesn't reliably start any more.

I have no affiliation with the seller but the photo looks like it has the same fan motor/belted follower that I have seen on the oem unit to me.

Look at the nuts on the front, then go look at your fan assembly. Those nuts are the clue.

That unit has two motors, of different specs because of different shapes, one behind each fan blade. They are then wired in parallel.

Depends on what you mean by "work." It will start if you help it, or if the car is moving fast enough to get some spin on the blades. But it will not start by itself if the car is stopped. Of course, it usually wants to start right after you stop the car.

It seems to work fine if you apply 12V to it, but that's not sufficient for this car. The system is much more complex than simple relays and resistors.
