Mercedesshop Grill badges now avaliable!

yep.. thats right...

35$ for the first 30$ for the rest that you order

this is what they will look like

if you are interested in one send me an email at grillbadges@gmail.com

with the following info

- mshop login name
- name and shipping address
- number of badges you would like

I currently have 15 ordered and need at least 40 badges total before I commit to collecting the cash.

more than 40 is good as well but soon as I hit 40 I will collect cash.

when the time comes I will ask for the cash and give out my address and or paypal address

*** Paypal payments will have to pay 4% extra to compensate for the paypal fees***

the badges mount like the ones MBUSA hands out for mileage but you will have to thread the studs into the back but not too tight or it will break the stud holders off so some loc-tite is needed, or w/e you want to use. plus two or four 1/8" fender washers

Getting the word out

TheDon: If you somehow got permission & made it a temporary "sticky" on here at the top of Diesel Discussion and Tech Help I bet it would help you to more quickly reach your goal of 40 than just put it here one time and it got lost among other posts.

Maybe even at Schumann automotive, same thing too, you are mod there

a LOT of members on tech and Diesel hate the OD forum or stay away from it for other reasons and might never notice it there even as a sticky.

Or notice it here if it appeared just once then got lost among later posts.

Making them still was a good idea you had in the first place, though.

We have sticky spam like the Vogtland Spring sticky that seems to have a life of it's own. Why on earth is that a sticky anyway? And for this long? And on multiple forums?

This badge thread would be a good sticky for awhile. And I know the one it can replace.......

Pretty good point

Totally agree with you. As a temporary sticky it would get the attention its needs until at least the needed minimum amount of orders for the first run, is made.

The permanent sticky idea could be commercially justified, as the badges are actually also a sort of commerical advertisement for the site, and by visiting it, exposure to its sponsors like Tire Rack and Fast Lane would be encouraged.

Otherwise, someone would have make sure this post had to be "bumped"
every now and then, to keep people aware of the opportunity to buy the badges....
