85 300d brake rotors
 

okay im going to r+r front brakes ,getting rotor off of hub-im looking to get impact wrench and compressor,any suggestions as to best and affordable wrench and where to get it and what size compressor for the job.or do i just try breaker bar-though how to hold hub still while removing bolts seems to be a pita

Heat up the rotor near the rotor bolts to make the lock tite stuff soften a bit.

Bolt the hub back onto the wheel, then lay the wheel flat on the deck. I have never needed anything more than a breaker bar. Impact wrenches and socket head bolts often don't go well together.

That's how I did it... Piece of cake.

When re-installing and tightening the new rotor back to the hub/wheel assembly, I had a friend hold the tire so I could operate the torque wrench easily.
