Have you checked your steering damper lately?

Man, mine was completely toast.

I replaced it and immediately my car felt like a new one.

I had just replaced the struts/shocks and was a little bit concerned with how much harshness I felt at the wheel.

I replaced the steering stabilizer and I am in hog heaven.

It actually improved the overall feel of the car considerably.

I noticed a bigger difference on the W126 after replacing it than the W124....both were equally shot. I wonder why the W126 is more sensitive to it, perhaps the suspension design?

I am sure mine feeling as good as it does is a function of the new struts/shocks and the damper.

I also am pretty sure that the previous owner replaced some parts like both tie rods and drag link not too long ago.
