replaced shifter bushings now won't start

This is on my 83 3ootd. About says it all. What went wrong ? Any ideas ?

I replaced the shifter bushings, really tight quarters, but got her done.

Went to start it up, and we all dead in the water. Starter won't turn over at all.
Got plenty off juice in the battery. Everything works ok till I try ti start it up.

All the lights comes on just fine, glow plugs, ect... WHERE DID I SCREW UP ?

Make sure you're in neutral or park. If so, you may have dislodged the Neutral Start Switch.

NSS?

Did you unplug or mess up the wiring on the neutral safety switch?

Allows the car to only start in Park or Neutral. If the switch is faulty, you won't be able to start at all (everything lights up normally, but no juice to the starter).

If it's all plugged in ok, perhaps you whacked the switch with your wrench while under the trans. Try unplugging and jumping the switch. If the car starts, you have a bad switch. Make SURE not to drive the car with it jumpered, because you can now start it in any gear!!

This commonly happens when replacing the bushings- the car wont sit fully in park anymore with good new bushings and therefore wont let it be started, if its not fully right now with the new bushings, remove the shift rod and adjust its length accordingly.
