Removing td wagon roof rack without pulling head liner. Has anyone done this?

Want to pull my roof rack but do not want to pull head liner. Is this possible? Thanks forum folk!

I believe it's Required to get at the bolts... unless you wanted to sawzall them off..

Thanks, at this point, I would rather preserve the head liner versus the roof rack which is where you were going - Anyone else attempt this?

How about the load strips on the roof? Are they clipped on or bolted from beneath? I'm without my FSM, need the same information.

The headliner is pretty easy to take down though... and easy to put back up.

Really?

Must admit, taking down the head liner seems daunting to me somehow . . .

I thought so at first, but a few clips and some trim by the door... it's pretty straightforward

Ooops, I should say "dropping" the headliner versus removal, thanks!
