turbo oil return line

What is the secret to removing the bottom part of the tube that goes into the oil pan? I took off the intake and exhaust and turbo to clean things up and replace some leaking gaskets. Now the last one to fix is the gasket that seals the tube to the pan. I can not get that tube out! Do I have to pull the oil pan and push it throughthe bottom?
