Photos from the SoCal Route 66 Oct 24 GTG

If anybody missed it, there's the thread in the Events section. Thought I'd post the photos here instead since nobody visits that part of the board...

I have 150+ photos to upload but some are not yet online, so here are some teasers from the first few stops we made:

That was just the first half of the group. More on the other half later. You can also see more images at http://www.flickr.com/photos/mbeige/

Thanks William. Those are great shots of the track, I wish I had my kit lens 18-55mm so I could get wider shots. Have some to share later on when I upload them

I've uploaded the first 57 images, more pics to come later. Viewable in my gallery:

Thanks all, I haven't finished uploading all of them. So far it's 57 images, will upload the rest later on (with the East group included). Flickr takes forever to load.

Was able to get one nice shot at the track (by nice I mean clear and sharp ) the rest were blurry, which actually make it look like we're driving MUCH faster

GD it! Why do have to live in the snow belt. As I scrolled down, with each picture, I told myslef, "Man, thats one of the nicest looking w123's I've ever seen. Just look how perfect the paint." Then I'd look at the next, and then the next, thinking even better. I wish my w123 was rust free...

I liked that SLK. Don't think it made it to the track, but the seat covers made me smile.

The smoke that we saw was from the exhaust, not the tires, as I realized that while on the track

Little bit more eye candy...
