turbo oil return line

What is the secret to removing the bottom part of the tube that goes into the oil pan? I took off the intake and exhaust and turbo to clean things up and replace some leaking gaskets. Now the last one to fix is the gasket that seals the tube to the pan. I can not get that tube out! Do I have to pull the oil pan and push it throughthe bottom?

I think we have that somewhere in the repair links below.
If all the stuff above the lower Turbo Drain tube is removed I believe I read that some onw use something like a punch or wooden Dowel the aproxomate size and knocked it up from the bottom with the Lower Oil Pan off.
You might also be able to cut the rubber lip off of the seal and that might help you pull the tube; again the Lower Oil Pan I think would need to be off.

You must completely remove the seal from around the tube, which means digging all of it out with a pick. Don't worry, the tube can't fall into the pan and any rubber that gets in will be stopped by the oil pickup screen or oil filter.

Yup that is what I ended up doing. I also removed the oil pan to try to push it out from the bottom but that did not work either. I used a pick to remove all of the seal and the tube came out pretty easy then!
