yeah, the rings are pretty cool. going to get a set for myself. this particular cruster is off my friend's car--he's japanese, and he's pretty much blinged out every possible nook and cranny of his car. even chrome rear view mirror

it's all aftermarket gotten from either ebay.de or ebay.co.uk

the trim rings ended up not fitting and needed to be cut to fit.

Make sure you paint those needles before reinstallation.

I just used a spray can of florescent paint. Sprayed a bit into a bowl and painted em with a small brush. Two or three coats and they look like new.

if you go to ebay germany and type in "(w123,123) mercedes tacho*" , you will find results which include the trim rings

haha, well, kinda. i've already ordered a set of tachorings for both my 190's, as well as a zebrano background wood trim for my w123, and a carbon fiber one for my sportline limited 190e. have yet to install them though. going to do my rheostat, instrument cluster led lights, zebrano background, and chrome rings on the w123 all at the same time--just haven't gotten around to it yet
