Will a rear bumper from a 1981 240D fit my 1985 300D?

|
You might want to use the same bumper shock mounts that go with each
bumper. I replaced my rear bumper on my 85 300D with one from a 80 300D. the way the bumper attaches to the mounts were different. Another thing I noted, the 80 was 3 times thicker than the 85. Charlie
