Block Heater cord

I have an 87 300TDT and while doing a paint job I noticed in the front there is a Block Heater cord all tucked in there neatly. Is it possible this thing came with one? It is a Canadian car. Or is it more likely it came with just a cord? I can't seem to find the other end of it anywhere w/o pulling the harness apart. I suppose I could plug it in but if it dosen"t work still wont know if it has one or not.

Probably came with the heater. Can't imagine having the cord and not the heater.

I was told that all the 603's came with the heater, and some just diddnt come with the cord, Check to see if it's plugged to the block the port should be on the Turbo side

Try It.

if you've got the cord ,the Block Heater is already installed.

In a quiet yard or garage after a couple of hours I can "hear" the BH working
(kinda like a "Crinkling" noise...You'll recognize it)

AND the Temp Gauge in your dash will come off the peg(With the IGN Switch on)

That depends a lot on the outside temp.....when its REAL cold, the gauge still lays down like always, even with the heater! Though the engine is still moderately warm.
