Replaced pump valve o-rings - now idle pulsation
Ok, so I replaced the copper crush washers and o-rings on the first three IP valves last night. All seemed to go ok except there was fuel coming out all over the place.
At any rate got the work done, could only do three since I forgot the intake manifold gasket at home and the back three valves are too far under the intake to torque reliably at that angle. I got rid of the leaking problem now but I have an idle pulsation that did not exist before. Suggestions are welcome but I'll bet I have to go back in there again. steve a

I think I've read it will take a few miles approx 200 for things to work out.

I did all 5 of mine yesterday, and mine is very noisy at idle, whereas it used to be very quite (before the leak started at least). I'm going to drive it 90 miles to work and back tomorrow and see if it improves.

Heres a thread with some speculation as to the nailing after changing: Possible cause of “nailing” after crush washer and "O" ring replacement
From what I've read EVERYONE has had this problem. Your not alone!
