95 E300 diesel stalling
After the initial start-up in the morning, it will stall either as soon as I accellerate or sometimes after a few minutes of driving. If I let the car idle for about 10 minutes before driving it does fine for the rest of the day. Thinking it was getting air into the system, I have replaced all of the O-rings on the fuel filter housing and injection pump. That helped for a while then it started to stall again. Next, I drained the fuel out of the tank , cleaned the filter screen and flushed algae out of the tank. Only time will tell if this will help. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Is there a electronic or computer controlled fuel system in this car, that may be the culprit? Thanks.....
