'99 E300 Engine Mounts | FEQ or Corteco?
Need to replace the engine mounts ont he '99. For the passenger side, only Febi available, and from prior Febi parts expreience for the w210, seems good, OEM like.
For the driver-side mount (left), either Corteco or FEQ.... Corteco is more expensive. Which do I go with?

I recently....
I recently replaced mine. I forget the brand, but I got the Mercedes OEM part. For the $4 savings or whatever, it just wasn't worth experimenting with a lesser brand.
It's made a HUGE difference in smoothing the car out. 1991 300d |

P.S....
By the way, the job is relatively a cinch to do, at least on mine. Use wheel chocks behind the rear wheels so the car doesn't roll. Jack the car up on one side so you can get under it, and use safety jacks stands.
Get TWO boards on top of a jack, and jack the engine up a bit to get the weight off the motor mounts (not just one thick board, because if it cracks, your jack will go up into your oil pan. TWO boards). Once the weight is off the motor mounts, I think you just need a simple wrench to take them off, slide it out, put the new one in. Then jack the car up on the other side, and do the same. jeff |

Use a couple 1/2" drive extension lengths to get at the top bolt on the driver's side. Easy that way, impossible otherwise. Extensions are cheap to buy.
