84 190D Odometer works on and off
The odometer works on and off. I took the cluster out and at the back of the odmeter there is an black electric box with a 2 pin connector similar to the picture. The speed needle has no problem and is indicating the correct speed.
Is the problem purely mechanical or has something to do with the electric box? If it is mechanical then I will take it apart and follow the posts in this forum to fix it. BTW: What is the electric box for? I remove it and there is some kind of a coil in there.
