AT adjustment suggestion
Hi,
Before I lost the pudu on my 240d, I noted something odd about the shifting. Normal use, beautiful shifts between all gears. At high throttle, say over 3/4, all shifts are nice except the 3-4 shift. It doesn't flare, it just seems to be really slow... It's almost like the trans is in an I termediate state where the engine speed is right for the higher gear, but it's not really in. But again, not a flare or slip. I'm hesitant to adjust because normal shifts are real nice... But it seems some optimization may be needed... Any suggestions? Leave it alone?

People keep saying adjusting the Bowden Cable (if your model has one) changes when the shift happens. Maybe by raising or lowering the shift point you can find that sweet spot.
But, I think before I would do anything I would do a fluid and filter change. I had what appeared to be a B2 Piston Problem and after I changed the Filter the problem went away.

My fluid and filter are about a year old and less than 1k miles.
The issue that is odd to me and that makes me hesitant to tweak is that all shifts, including 3-4 are very nice, except 3-4 past 3/4 throttle. It is only by differential diagnosis versus other w123s that this one seems odd. I suppose I could adjust for slightly faster/firmer shifts, and see the result... Dontvwant to harm by messing, or harm by leaving alone, an at that shifts great but has a slight anomaly.
