Ok, 1985 300SD (may be 1984). I too was bored w/ local snow and went on a search. I pulled passenger side footwell plastic (front of well). I found one "box" hooked to wiring. There are two more wiring plugs w/multiple wires that go to nothing. There are apparently two control boxes for something that are missing. Car did have ABS, local mechanic "disabled" them some time ago. Servo remains on well in engine compartment. Would these missing boxes be control for ABS and possibly one for alarm system? Baffled and obviously missing something!
