91 300D 2.5Turbo idle vibration, and power loss

first the vibration. car idles around 750 and the vibration is rough.
Ideas? it does smooth out with RPM increase, but wanted some better answers than speed up the idle...

also, the power loss problem. it's two fold, first the instruments drop out. tach and others will drop. (I'm pretty sure it's due to ground issues)
also, the motor feels weak when this happens.
I changed the fuel filters because the drive felt as though they needed changing. I would like to know if the alda lines are both supposed to be clear. also where the lines go to, what are the devices attached to the lines?
the reason I mention the color of the lines, is one line is clear, one is black, and there is an oil issue in the intake, and I want to make sure oil is not coming from or going to the alda system.
Thanks!

Do you mean clear in color or not clogged?

In any case, black tubing and not clogged.

I can take a picture of mine tonight if that would be of any help.

Plus, you can look at the vacuum diagram and figure out what things are too.

Have you checked the condition of your motor mounts?

the motor mounts look great, and the motor has very little movement when revved. is there an engine shock on this motor? I didn't see one, but I did not get a lot of time with the car.
thanks for the vac diagram, but are alda lines included in that pic?
I'll take all the pics with descriptions you have thanks!
a search turned up, turning an electrical connector to adjust idle/smoothness. any pics of that one?
thanks much guys!
