instrument cluster circuit board

1984 300D with 2 burnt tracks on the circuit board. Can it be saved.

which cluster? oil or tach?
either way, a replacement is only a junkyard away...

picture? the tracks are pretty beefy. i saved mine by adding a jumper wire.

I had a burned trace on mine. I soldered a jumper wire across it and it has worked great for the last 3 years. I also put a piece of tape over the wire to protect it.

+1, jumper it, put nail polish over the soldered joints and tape down the wire for strain relief. Thinner/smaller is better.

If you dont have all the tools already, a junkyard replacement is likely the most cost effective solution...

redid mine, it's been fine for several years. Temporary glitch that caused it?? not sure, but it's been working.
