I received my modulator

I received a new transmission modulator, Plastic Cap with Pin for Modulator Valve, and an Outer Rubber Cap. I ordered the plastic cup with pin and rubber cap as separate items. I'm a little perplexed as to what came also with the modulator.

In the box with the modulator was a brown pin with no cup, the metal piece to adjust the modulator and a white plastic piece that is round in the middle, which I suppose could cover the adjustment area but looks like it would not stay very secure or hold vacuum like the rubber cap would.

What are the other two items that came with the modulator and metal adjuster? (the white plastic piece and the brown pin with no cap)

Hopefully in the next day or two I can get under there and get this changed. I'm having a hard time finding a 100 psi gauge to set he adjustment with. I have the banjo bolt, vinyl tubing rated for 55 psi, and the 1/4 npt fitting

Pics please, there were updates throughout the series, including parts, some of which you may not need.

I have determined that the white part is a cap. It doesn't fit very tight at all. I would imagine the least little vibration would eventually make it fall off if attached as is. I will use the other cap I purchased. Should I use a dab of silicon to help secure the cap?

What is the difference between the brown push rod in the picture and the push rod with cup? I have both. The one with the cap is not in the picture.

You may be replacing an older version (#90) with a newer (#111) one.

This is the Plastic Cap with Pin for Modulator Valve.

Is this the update?

It would have helped, I'm thinking, if I sent the pics along with my previous post.

Thanks a million.

I got it all changed. I used the black cap instead of the white one. Also, I found a pressure gauge at a local pool supply store.

Shifting is nice and the downshift clunk is completely gone! I'll change filter and fluid.

Next up is a new master cylinder and new 126 rotors and calipers. I've discovered that my master cylinder is leaking, possibly into the booster. I'll find out when I pull it. Hopefully the booster isn't ruined.

My NEXT bit of homework. It's getting downright annoying.
