617 tensioner on 616

Stripping a 300D before it becomes a sheet metal donor. Got a winter car out of the deal.

Can a 617 timing chain tensioner be used in a 616? The one in my spare 616 is a little suspect.

Same w/ vacuum pump, viscous fan clutch.

Yes, as far as I know, those are the same on the 616 and 617...

I believe the 617 tensioner is ratcheted, the 616 tensioner works by only oil pressure but they may be interchangeable.
No viscous fan on the 616. Vacuum pumps the same.
