About 2 years ago I disconnected and plugged the Vacuum Tube to my EGR.
However, working on another project that required removing the Maniflold I found that disconnecting the EGR was not need due to; See Pic
The inside if the Intake Manifold is a little messy but not at all bad. There is evidence that it had been previously removed.
Perhaps the last time it was removed by someone else they simply did not clean the EGR Hole.
